A: Workshops and seminars are not offered online, however a distance education option is available. All seminars including electives and mentored reading can be taken in our online video learning format called NOLA2U (synchronous learning). A: Yes. Applicants must have transcripted hours in education/teaching and basic ministerial preparation in biblical, theological, and ministry leadership classes to meet the requirements. Q: Can I request an exemption from Teaching in Higher Education?
A: Candidates pursuing an EdD degree who have a master's degree in education or Christian education that includes course work in teaching methods and learning theory and who have a minimum of five years teaching experience at the college level, may request exemption from Teaching in Higher Education.
