Our Entrust Mentoring Program is built on the foundation of 2 Timothy 2:2- “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
What do Mentoring classes look like?
Weekly online lecture, typically ranging from 15-30 minutes.
Weekly mentor meeting, lasting at least 1 hour that discusses and apply the coursework using prompts and discussion topics provided by the professor.
Weekly ministry hours, usually between 1-2 hours/week depending on the course.
Weekly reports record discussions and ministry to be submitted online.
Why should I consider Mentoring classes?
Not only are the Mentoring classes modeling Scripture, consider these other benefits.
Experience- Acquire guided experience not only in theory but with real world, hands-on experience.
Support- Build relationships with a mentor as well as our faculty who will be able to encourage and guide you in different seasons of ministry.
Convenience- Fulfil degree requirements (all programs require at least one mentoring course) by doing what you came to school to do—serve the Lord in ministry.
Time- Earn credit by integrating learning with current ministry experience.
Economical- For distance students, these courses cost less than other distance options. For residential students, these courses count toward your required hours to live on campus.
