Emily Dean's research and writing has focused on ministry to adolescent young women, Bible study leadership and curriculum design, and leadership for women in ministry.
Her recent research has centered on best practices for women preparing to serve in ministry leadership. She speaks frequently on topics related to Bible study leadership, disciple making and mentoring, and leadership for women and loves to serve women through discipling and leading Bible studies in the local church.
She and her husband, Jody, have served the local church in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi, and they have two children.
